There are many things we did before attempting to create or music video, these things include a story board, lipsyncing and rehersals. All of these where important to be able to make our music video exactly like the one busted had created.
The story board was the first thing we had to do to get the exact replica of each shot, we did this on the computure using youtube to pause on each shot then printscreening each one on to a word document which we where going to work from. We had to make sure that the image we paused on was exactly at the begining of the shot and then had to write underneth each one what shot it was and how long it lasted to make each shot identical.
The second thing we did was to create a lipsynicing video so we understood how to make the music start the same time as our lips. We decided to lipsynic to katy perrys hot n cold we chose this song because we all knew the lyrics and liked the somg, we had fun doing this video as we ropped our friends into helping us so the last shot. We did the video on Steffs mac as she had it with her and it was easy to use but we did not think about carrying the laptop aroud and we could not create some of the shots we wanted.
The Third thing we where suppose to do was rehersals but we did not do this due to the lack of time we had to create the video, if we did do the rehersals i think the making of the video would have ran alot smoother.
Our team worked well togther but we did have issues with peple doing more than others but that was solved when we decided to split the group into two and one group would do one half and the other the second half, overall the planning went well but i think we could have done this better by everyone putting in abit more effort myself included.
